My LJ's been up on my lift for over 2 years now, and I'd guess I'm about half-way done. I was making pretty good progress by putting off "other duties as assigned," but those duties have now been assigned and my build is suffering...

I won't be making any plans until it's done because I know better.

I haven’t committed to reserving hotel rooms yet, but I’m pretty confident I’ll get it done. The front was the only part I was worried about with the LS, high pinion and minor stretch, but all is playing along nicely now and I’m getting full uptravel where the first point of contact is the upper arm into the motor mount. The rear I’m not doing anything other than standard documented mid arm and outboard so I think I can knock it out in a few days. It’s been on the lift since December but I didn’t really start getting after it until a couple weeks ago.

Is drinking water really all that important, Scott?

And Mike is doing an automatic swap. 😲

I got my trailer fenders painted today, huge accomplishment. My only real project is a suck down winch for the front. Oh and maybe for Mike a muffler.

Next weekend I think I will put the truck on a rack and do a shakedown.

The flags are in. They look and feel better than I thought they would. These are legit! Especially for $20.

Add me to the in list. Things are progressing far enough along I’m comfortable committing. Everything mid arm/axle swap wise is fitted. 2 big hurdles left are re-gear the axles and get the rear outboard done. Hope to get the regear done in the evenings this week and do the outboard this weekend. That’ll give me a week to tidy up wiring and plumbing, then still have 2 weeks to break it in and take it on a shake down run. Looking forward to it, room booked!

I am at 75% likely, the only barrier is it's the busiest week for my wife at work. I am hoping that I can just meal plan for the week and help prep lunches beforehand to make it as easy as it can be on her.

With those odds, better get my whip mounted and my POS roadtrip worthy.

OK boys, it must be happening. I shined up the rig and started packing today.

By the way, if anyone needs a flag and was not able to get one for some reason, I have an extra blue one that I now won’t be using.

Let me know if anyone is interested.
