Hood insulation

I've used lizard skin ceramic on other projects. It would solve your under hood issues.

My "Sweetpea" would've been offended by your choice of products. Although she did have extra skin that she shed regularly. 🤔

When you are dealing with questions related to vehicles close to 30 years old, a couple years here and there doesn't matter.

True, but the 2.5 years between his question and your answer probably does though, no?

Lol, you had me searching this site HARD for the product you mention because it is what I put on my kid's baseball bat grips lol, same name:

Am intrigued with what you posted, how bad is the prep work before applying for a decent install?

Prep was easy. Knock everything down with a red scotchbrite, wax and grease remover and you're prepared. Don't even think about anything other than their gun. It is a siphon gun on roids. It goes on easy but you spray it to about 1/16". It definitely adds some weight but it isn't bad. I've used both the ceramic for heat and the sound deadener, both work well.
