Oh, I imagine there was some of that as well, though most probably came from south of the Mason-Dixon. In fact, the first time I had it was from a southern student who transferred into my high school when I was a senior. Had an immaculate '70 Chevelle SS as well, looked just about like this one, if memory serves...
I had a brother in law who had one just like this - and so did his brother.
My preference is pre '68 when it comes to Chevelles, but it was a very clean example, looked and sounded great. I imagine he had some loot in it.
I saw this "old" LJ for sale. Out of my price range ($20,000).

Don't forget the Ribena. Not easy to come by in the states. Currant was erradicated here in the early 1900s due to a fungus it carried that destroyed white pines. My state is one of a few where you can grow it (and gooseberry) legally now.

Not mine but installed the Wrangler Fix ECU on my buddy's 05 Rubicon. Runs like a champ now. 
Funny thing is, he fought me like crazy on it not being the ECU and even had 2 other people try to diagnose it, hoping for a cheaper fix. I told him "I'm NOT a shop, so I don't make ANY money on pushing anyone's products. Just buy the part instead of firing the proverbial parts cannon!" Jeeps and Chryslers were my specialty when I did work in the shops. (My coworkers called them vehicles, Job Security. )

Don’t you just love it when you have a job planned out just perfect so that when you’re wrapping up one portion, the last part of the puzzle will be arriving that day? If only FedEx knew I had that plan…
I’m still not completely upset though. Finished this up this morning.
The last part that FedEx "delivered" to me, they put it on three different trucks "out for delivery" in three days. All from my home city. I'm guessing FedEx hires the ex-McDonalds employees that I.C.E. didn't scoop up. Customer service is a myth these days.
100% I was already getting anxious because it took so long to ship out, but they were waiting on Johnny Joints, so I let them go with a warning…
I needed a clutch master/slave cylinder for my current Jeep. Rockauto said it would be delivered the day I removed the old one (knowing it was coming that day). Rockauto sent the wrong part.
I had to walk 3 miles to AutoZone and buy their DuroCrap part so I could drive it. I've Never bought from Rockauto again, mostly because of their shipping charges.

That’s unfortunate. I use rockauto all the time and haven’t had any issues with them. Most of the time I’ll price it there and a few other places and they usually win out on best price including the shipping. Last week, my wife’s AC condenser showed up a day early.
Ordered parts from Rock Auto that were lost during shipping, had to get parts from another place to finish. Was issued a refund about a month later. 8 months later the part gets delivered to my house. The very next day they send an email stating that the was delivered and wanted payment,lol. Told them I didn’t need the part and would send it back. They wanted me to pay for shipping. Part is still on a shelf in my garage.
