My axles had the tube seals in them when I bought my jeep. I pulled them out when I changed the unit bearings because they would not stay in the tube and when they popped out they rattled and rode on the axle shaft, I wasn't a fan.

These ones seemed to be in there pretty good, I couldn't twist them. If they become a problem they'll disappear in short order
FWIW, they once were the darlings of the forum, but for reasons that are unclear (to me), they're no longer recommended. *shrug*
That’s been happening to me too and I hate it!
Mine weren't sealing so I had dirt and debris in my tubes they had collected. I was better off removing mine and just washing out the tubes after being in water or mud.
That happened to me twice: the fist time, I closed out the app and reopened it. It appeared again. That time, in a fit of rage, I hit/swiped at the screen in an effort to make it normal again and it went away and hasn't come back
. So, I take that to mean there's a way to turn it off, however, I'm not sure exactly what that is. Just get into a pissed off rage and do semi-violent things to your phone/laptop/tablet and it'll probably go away.
Yeah, but this is using a web browser on my PC, I've never used their app. Maybe there is a way to do it with the app.
Out of curiosity, I just googled it. Haven't been on Amazon on anything but my phone for a while, but if I do, I will not tolerate that trash. Here's what Google said:
Yeah, I'm thinking that's my only option for the browser. I've got an ad blocker that allows for selecting and hiding page elements, that should do it. Be nice if they gave you the option to not use it, but I don't suppose they can have that. The only way it gets better is if people use it, and I guess if you can basically force it on everyone...
Just passed the AZ emissions test with the tow rig. I was nervous about the diesel smoke test since I won’t be able to work on the rig for a few months, but it passed with flying colors. Standard opacity for the test is 30% and truck’s reading was 2.3%.

Before driving the tow rig from Florida, I was told that the AC in the truck had a bad compressor so a major overhaul would be needed. I also learned in short order that the blower motor didn't work.
After pulling the high/low side service caps to the AC system this evening, I believed the low-side Schrader valve was leaking, so I changed out the core and pulled vacuum using a 2-stage Icon vacuum pump.
While pulling vacuum, I removed the blower motor and cut through a bunch of electrical tape and heat-shrink tubing on the wires to see what was going on inside. Sure enough, the splices were fused together and corroded.
While starting to splice in butt connectors, I decided to check continuity at the pins on the plug. The + and - wires had continuity even though the plug looked good to my eye. I tossed the plug aside and crimped on some heat-shrink male spade connectors and then taped the connection up after installing the blower motor. I ordered a new blower motor that I can later use the plug from if it ever fails. I cleaned a lot of leaves out of the cage, ducting, and out off the resistor coils. I then cleaned up the resistor coil soldering points with light brushing and D5 Deoxit spray.
Vacuum held, so that was great news. My plastic knob for opening the valve on cans of R-134a cracked in three places, so I fused it back together with a soldering iron and added about 32oz of refrigerant. The blower motor and fan settings now work as they should, and the AC blows cold enough that I won't worry about overhauling the system for a while.
I also found a hidden rubber vacuum hose connector deteriorated and cracked at a tee today, so the 5.9L's vacuum pump no longer has a sizable vacuum leak to deal with. I'm happy to see the old truck working a bit better, and I hope the minor improvements hold up for a bit.

I started installing a CB radio in my 2004 Jeep TJ Wrangler X. I installed an aftermarket Antenna Mount under the passenger side tail light assembly. The 4' Fire Stick Antenna is mounted. Now I need to determine how to route the Coax cable into the interior.
Then find plans for making a overhead center console assembly to mount the radio permanently.

Got my new/used hood cowl after FedEx had it in town for 4 days. No more faded paint and tire track decals. Getting some touchup paint next.

Finally had time to check on the TJ's coolant leak last night. When I topped off the system I think the added pressure was enough to have a weak spot in the lower hose give way. After dripping on our floor for several days, everything is dry.
