I was entertained. Rules-wise, I'm thinking you win if you get on the trailer and stay for a certain period of time?
I hope everyone involved there has to take a few shots of fresh, burny-burny rot gut whiskey before heading onto the track.
That's the way I assume it works. May have to ride a lap or simply cross the finish line while "parked" on the trailer.
Now for a weird one..a Spanish made British Land Rover.

I know next to nothing about those. I assume "Santana" on the front indicates it's spanish made, and not his favorite band, or is that just what you read on the windshield? Was that a licensed production vehicle?
I've never seen one before. The google-foo says that it was made in Spain. The company was Santana.
Really don't know much more than that. Oh, the 2500 was the fancy version. The 2.5 was the work version.

They do the school busses and the trailer race demos at our local track. Still a good time.

Last week the wife decided that someone's mailbox was too close to the road, and she thought my mirror would be the best tool for adjusting it, so I wound up at a local junkyard and they had some "yard art" sitting around.
1965 Chevelle's are my favorite Chevelle ( especially in uber rare Z-16 flavor ) . Can you imagine how much it would cost to get the body , but more important the trim work presentable ??? The grille alone would be a huge dollar nightmare .
What would it cost , to get to this ?
I honestly don't know enough about them to know what is, or more importantly what is not available to restore those cars. Possible, yes. Financially feasible, probably not, but who knows, maybe it is a Z16, I'm sure the owner is willing to sell it as one.
Speaking of rare cars, there is a guy around here who has a '64 Ford Thunderbolt that he's been trying to sell. It's a basket case/roller of an old race car with no motor or trans and in need of complete resto. Asking price of around $20K and he's been offering it for sale for years. I'm guessing the expected cost of resto takes that car well out of 99% of peoples range.
For me, it’s down to two different ones, for two different reasons. I find the ‘69 Chevelle to be the most beautiful of the bunch, and the ‘70 to be the most bad-ass of ‘em. It just looks like it’s ready to kick some butt!
