So about a year ago when I got my Jeep it there was a rattle at acceleration and I coulda sworn it was the TC chain or the trans mount so got it inspected they told me it was the mount. Got that replaced went away for a week and then came back. Now I find myself having to hold the shifter in the downright position when accelerating for it to stop? Any ideas on how to fix this? It’s pretty annoying.

You need to adjust it from under the Jeep. There are yt vids on it. Takes all of 5 mins. There are nylon bushings on the ends of the rods that can break, thus the inspection recommendation.

X2 to other comments but also check the housing right where it comes through the floor. There is a wide linkage 2 inches maybe that is housed, that connects to your shift linkage. That linkage will vibrate back and forth( side to side) causing your noise that your referring to. I installed a few bid O rings to both sides. I no longer have the vibrating noise that your referring to.
