High output alternator?

So I need to put in a high output alternator in my 97 TJ with the 2.5. I put a snow plow on it and the stock alt can not keep up. I am looking at getting this one.

My question is what do you think of this one? I read somewhere and now can not find it that I should use a heavy duty external regulator. I want to do this right the first time. I do not think I need any bigger the 160 amp.

I'd just plug it in as-is and use the TJ's internal voltage regulator which seldom gives problems. It looks to be plug-and-go for your '97, an easy upgrade.

I don't know, I've not shopped for an alternator in years. My next site to check pricing on after eBay would definitely be Amazon.com as their pricing is often the least expensive.

What about this one? I think I would only need to change the plug connector which I think I have.
