I bought new springs 3"bds
I did not k ow what was actually on my LJ except RC didnt know height but needless to say I swapped the rear and was same height springs. I was wanting almost an inch higher than current...I have not installed front yet...as I'm wondering if I should do like a 3/4" spacer lift....then the question should I do .75 in rear and 1 to 1.25 in the front for when I add winch and bumper?

Other stuff is rancho shocks....metalcloak away bars and front and rear track bars.

I also bought the metalcloak bumpstops...should I just install one disc then flex and measure to make it easier to add? I bout the 1 to 4 inch adjustable set...
 
Spacers are fine as long as they don't lead to coil bind.

Flexing is not how to determine the bump stop extension. This will never recreate the limits of full bump or full flex on a dynamically moving vehicle.

You need to remove the coils, soft jounces and disconnect the sway bars so that you can move the axle through it's entire range of motion, full bump, full flex and full droop. This will clearly show you the first point of interference. This is what the bump stops need to be extended to in order to prevent.
 
Rear BDS rear springs have a much higher rate than their front springs. Consider the amount of weight currently carried be the rear and if there are plans to add more. Measure rear spring height at rest, any amount greater than eight inches is the lift. Three inch BDS front springs with my unloaded, light, TJ front end, net three and a quarter inches lift not including spring isolator. If you have all the modifications to accommodate a lift of four inches or greater, go for one & quarter inch spacer. If the drive train isn't ready for that amount of lift, don't add spacers until either the modification are made for four inches over, or added weight keeps ride height in the three inch range.

I have the LJ rubicon so I should be ok at 4" as I also had the fixed but extended lower control arms.

This would be harder in driveway /jackstands..
