C’mon man why must you pee in my wheaties? I actually did read people were reporting that. The mishmoto just had a shorter lead time so I decided to take the gamble.

He's right... I mean this with no disrespect at all, but those Mishmoto radiators are absolute garbage. I see reports of failures all the time among the JK guys and the TJ guys. I once almost bought one years and years ago before I knew any better, but Blaine told he's seen plenty of them fail in less than a year as well.

Either way, hopefully it works out for you!

If it fails on me I will be on here bitching. Hopefully I’m one of the lucky ones.

If it does fail, do indeed let us know, so we can all bitch about it some more, and then convince other TJ owners to stay away.

But of course I hope it doesn't fail! I hate messing with coolant related work. That stuff is messy and smelly.

Were you able to take them off to paint them? I tried removing mine to paint but the nutserts were a problem. If you left them on to paint can you give any tips? Rattle can or roller? Thanks and nice looking Jeep.
I removed them. I didn't have any problems with the nutsets. But if you are having problems you can use index cards to slip in between the flare and the paint. Just make sure you clean it real good. Then rattle can it. I used this 1541945983041118719703031407120.jpg15419460270193832545326207699228.jpg

More of a what did I do to my TJ this weekend.

Installed a Painless Trail Rocker, 4 sets of LED lights, ground bar, in dash winch switch, wired and loomed everything. Definitely turned into a weekend job.

I had ordered a battery cable set from Vince at custom battery cables some time ago. I finally got around to putting them in and discovered they were way too long. It seems they were for a TJ SE 2.4. I have a 97 with a 2.5. This is a common problem with a 97 SE, sometimes it comes up as a 2.4.
Not to worry, Vince is great, I’m sending him my old cables so he can match them. Great company to work with. Putting in the cables is easy, I’m using the long ones until the right ones come, I will post a picture when it’s done.
Quality on these cables is top notch, really nice stuff.
