That is how I get in my Jeep too. Then I use the passenger seat as a arm rest to push against to get adjusted in the seat. LOL That is another one of my bucket list items, a center console.

I really like my grab bars. Got the name brand but I probably should have gotten cheaper ones. They do not change my view outside from the drivers seat at all and make getting in/out much easier. They have never been an issue as far as getting in the way either.I have been thinking about getting some of those. How do you like them? They pretty much out of the way as far as entering and exiting? They just appear to stick out kind of far, but it's hard to tell in pics.
Installed the Bartact seat covers that Cindy got me for Christmas. These are the base model style but are fine with me. I also installed seat heaters but haven’t wired them in yet. I pulled the center console to make things easier and in prep for the heater switches.

Had some bad battery cable ends. Swapped them out with some military style.
Today I replaced the fire breathing original dome lights in my 2003 with Philips LED lights. They work well and are cool to the touch. Not as bright and the originals but bright enough, kind of like me.

Installed my light guards. Finally, something purple on the back.
Hubby told me he would pay for my hitch for my birthday next month, so I ordered that today too. I will paint it purple to, of course. This girl doesn't need no diamonds, a hitch is going to be great for a Bday present.

Replaced the harmonic balancer yesterday! Old one literally came apart on the road. Luckily I was only about a mile from the house. That mile was quite loud. 
I thought they were designed to go over the stock seat covers not wholesale replace them. I mean I would much rather that they did! But don’t you have foam sticking out in some places? It looks great in your pictures!
They are designed to go over your factory seat covers. My drivers side cover was in bad shape and I wanted to get rid of it to install the seat heaters. You can see some foam but I’ll try to make an adjustment after they’re broken in. If that doesn’t work I guess we’ll have to figure something out.
Care to share any pictures? I’m curious how it looks, maybe someone can offer a good idea to hide, protect or cover up the exposed foam.
In other news: today I changed the spark plugs on my TJ. The old ones didn’t look too bad but I didn’t know when they had last been done anyhow. Next on the maintenance list is fluid for diffs, tranny and xfer-case.
out boarded my rear shocks. Thanks to jjvw and tworley for the help. A few details to finish, hopefully have it on the road by the end of the week.
Replaced my front lower control arms and cycled my front suspension to set my bump stops. Tried getting the uppers out, but that stupid angled nut at the axle just spun. Had to get a saw zall to cut the driver side lower at the axle, guess I’ll cut the uppers at the axle as well.

Gives you time to drive it around some to make sure everything is okay before heading to Utah.
How did the driveway turn out?
It turned out awesome. I am going to give it another week to fully cure, but it looks pretty good if I say so myself:
Finally got the courage to drop the transfer case skid plate for the first time. Thank goodness I did. It wasn’t pretty underneath. Good news all the bolts came out easily. Little chisel and wire wheel action followed by good ole POR. Check your skid plate frame area boys and girls!
