That could be, I don't know 100% for sure that 4.10 wasn't available then. But when I had a half-dozen Jeep dealers as clients in the early 2000's to build lifted TJs for them to sell when I was with 4WHeel Parts' parent company Transamerica, 4.10 wasn't an option for the Dana 44 on the Jeep factory order screen. I would sit with the dealer's GM to order Jeeps properly configured with Dana 44 axles so I could have my shops lift them with bigger tires. If 4.10 had been an option for the Dana 44, and it was not when I was in that business, we would have jumped on it. All we could get on the Dana 44 then was 3.73 which was barely acceptable for the 33's we installed with the suspension lifts. Your saying you received your Dana 44 with 4.10 is very (!) surprising to say the least.
