I just happen to have a couple of nice Cuban cigars too. If it'll stop raining, I might just have to enjoy one tonight.Ahhh... A little dark rum and a good cigar. The makings of a perfect evening

So, @Jerry Bransford I am going to give quitting smoking a dilligent effort & not light the next smoke. I hate smoking now, it is a disgusting habit. I know that statement is cliche but seriously.
Been there, did that 39 years ago. Started when I was 12 and quit at 27. How? Took the pack out of my pocket and never picked it up again.
We might have quit in the same distant country. I had been thinking I need to quit but it didn't occur to me when I walked to my hootch to fetch a pack of cigarettes that I would quit the second I pulled it out of the carton. As I pulled the pack out, I thought this is stupid and I gave the carton away.Been there, did that 39 years ago. Started when I was 12 and quit at 27. How? No Jerry, I was in a very foreign country called Alabama. My wife was pregnant with our first baby and I decided I needed to be around when he grew up.

I smoked a full pack at one time on a dare when I was 15. I passed out and never touched a cig again. :nono:
I see people spending so much $$ on a single pack of cancer and it's crazy. Just the thought of inhaling SMOKE every day all day bothers the hell out of me. My grandmother died from lung cancer when I was young and I what she went through I WISH ON NO ONE.
By the way what's the big hype with Cuban cigars? Why are they so special? Is it like Ecstasy or something? :lol:

There is something about smoking a nice Cuban cigar while sitting in a resort in Cuba though. The best ones I had were hand rolled by a small local farm. Yes, they were legal ones, lol. Cohiba's are nice, but nothing special. They're also bloody expensive to buy here (Canada), but are decently priced at the duty free shops.

Ok, so I've had a week and a bottle of Buffalo Trace called my name. If I say something exceptionally stupid, smack me in the back of the head.
I'll tell you this - I stained my fingers black multiple times with the mint while making Mojitos by hand for people when I worked at Playboy (For some reason we never bought a thing to muddle them properly).
I can positively confirm that it is not a gay drink!
