Need a list of front end parts to change out

I started that post wondering what you were looking for but about half way through I deleted it and started over trying to help.

Your next post seems to show me that you just want someone to tell you to do exactly what your plan already is.

Do whatever you want, hopefully it fixes any problems, and good luck while doing it.

I'm not a mechanic and basic bolt/unbolt is all I can (or feel safe doing to my daily) do safely without opening a can of worms I would have to take it to a shop to fix in the end anyway. So given that data, and the fact that I already wish to change these parts anyway, that is where I'm starting. If the upgrades do not correct the issue after alignment, then I will, for sure, need recommendations on where to go from there. As to the ball joints, I'm moving to Maine, it will need a Maine inspection sticker to register anyway, so the shop will tell me if they need to be replaced as part of the inspection. I'm not blowing off help, just wanted some pointers on what to replace those three bars with and I did get them, Crown heavy duty kit and Rough Country adjustable track bar. Where we go from there? Hopefully to on and off road enjoyment.

The Crown HD Steering Kit is what I used and its a complete “kit” that is easy to install and its beefier than stock. Also, I would not recommend a Rough County track bar. In fact, I’m trying to take everything off my Jeep that is Rough Country. I replaced my track bar with a Metalcloak and I think it is great, and it was also in my price range and didn’t break the bank.

I guess I can spend $50 for that over the Rough Country.

Might want to do a little more research on front track bars. Many of the aftermarket adjustable ones require you to drill out the frame mount hole to a bigger bolt size, such as the Metal Cloak one, as well as JKS, Currie, etc. Some like RC and Teraflex use the factory style tie rod end for the frame mount, so no drilling. You drill out that hole and there's no going back without some serious effort.

I guess this is why I selected the RC in the first place. My Jeep isnt a crawler, so as long as the RC is something above stock and adjustable that will suffice.

The RC TB will do fine for you. I have their rear TB and it has held up just fine.

The RC track bar should be just fine for you, and it has an easily findable and replaceable MOOG tie rod end on it. There's a reputable builder that uses them, but I can't recall the name. @Chris knows it though.

My TJ has to walk in both worlds, the pavement and the dirt. I took it up through Baldy and Eagle rock as it sits now and it it did great. Hard loose rocky hill climbs and some small boulders. So as long as I can tame the wheel shimmy after hitting bumps on road at speed, I will be very happy.

There's really not too much to the front end that would cause DW, so you should be able to figure it out quite easily (keyword, should, but not always). Are there any local off-road/Jeep clubs that you might be able to reach out to? Most clubs usually have a few keen members that love helping others out.

As mentioned by others, do a dry steer test to see if you can see any movement in the joints. I know you also said that you double checked the torque on everything you loosened, but it could be worth a triple check, even just to rule loose bolts out of the equation. Everything you can check off the list of possibilities helps narrow down what might be causing you issues.

Best of luck man!

Yes, the RC track bar is commonly used by Dave at Jeep West who is a very reputable builder.

He likes it because it doesn’t have any interference on mild builds.

Its funny to think of it as a mild build with what its capable of without lockers! Wranglers are more capable than people realize.

Maybe I was just unlucky with mine. But, there is also no way to know what happened to it or how it was abused before I had it either.
