This May Be a Dumb Question

This may be a dumb question, but I came across some canvas half-doors that were on an '84 CJ7. Are they going to fit my '03 TJ?

I know YJ doors can fit TJ by changing the striker. I also know cj7 and YJ doors are interchangeable. So technically yes they will fit by changing the striker.

But the striker is on the jamb, right? So it doesn't sound like I can quickly and easily go back and forth between the steel full doors and the canvas half doors.

You won’t be able to go back and forth so it’s not really worth it.

Maybe some modification to the canvas doors wouldn't be too hard and make it work while. I wish I knew for sure.
