Eaton Detroit locker

What do you tj gurus think about the Eaton Detroit locker for the super 35.
I can pick up one locally for $350.
Man says it has never been installed. It's for a Dana 35 30 spline axle.
What would I need to look for in this locker, buying from an individual?

If it's never been installed the ring gear and ring gear bolt surfaces should be clean and not marred up. Also check that it indeed 30 spline. You can count or have an axle available. The big issue is knowing whether it is actually for the 35. Hopefully he has the box and/or it is marked in some way. I don't recall whether or not they were marked with some identifying numbers.

There is a tag with 162 c 66a.
I looked that number and it looks like it's for a Dana 35.
I will need to buy some super 35 axles.
