What did you do to your TJ today?

What I did was took it for a ride. Sweet! And also put the Dana 30 HP ( currently LP )I rebuilt w/ Artec hardware ( see attachments ) in my van so a friend can install the 4:88 gears and an ARB locker. I welded gussets till I can upgrade again. Lots of fun

Continuation of the fuel pump replacement, here it is with new Bosch pump and Mopar filter/regulator installed.
After discovering the 69316 Bosch pump doesn't come with the correct screen or a new rubber grommet I had to get creative 🤞 The old pump and filter/regulator sitting in front. A new pickup screen got ordered to replace the nasty one that came off (left of the sending unit)

The new screen that was already attached to the new pump below the old one that attaches to the assembly. I also discovered an additional screen inside the sending unit below the fuel pump. (not pictured) it's also on order🥴

Decided while everything was apart I would clean the contacts on the fuel level sending unit in hopes that it might actually read more accurately when it all goes back together🤞

Last but not least when I pulled the assembly out of the tank I discovered the seal had been installed incorrectly the last time someone had it apart and part of the seal was pinched inside the tank so one of them is also on order. (that would explain the leak when I topped off the tank)

Dorman 917-529 fuel tank skid is also on order,

New wiper blades. I normally wouldn't attempt such a complex mechanical undertaking alone, but after watching a couple hours of YouTube videos I was relatively confident in my ability. Success!
I would recommend setting aside at least 4 minutes for this project, but first be sure that you have a couple beers on hand.

Slow down there buddy... next thing you know, you'll try something crazy like... changing the air filter.

Finished wiring Gentex rear view mirror (made the wires nice and tidy). Replaced factory underhood light with 2 KC Cyclone LED lights wired to a toggle next to the radiator, replaced windshield washer reservoir motor, put center dash panels back on, wash & wax & polish, stand back and admire. Then I went inside and grilled some ribs.

Please tell the group which wipers you settled on and give us a report on how well they work. Thanks! ;)

nice! What kind did you get? I had a hell of a time finding the exact one I wanted: compass/temp/map lights. The Rubicon comes stock with a wiring harness for this. That was handy!

Mine looks similar but I wanted the yellow digital readout instead of blue/green. Has compass/temp but no map lights. I had to make a harness for my 98 and run the wires along the windshield. I'll take pics later and add them to the Install thread on these in the How To.

I may start a new thread for this as it is pretty complicated. Long story short I used RainX blades. I think.

I just went through this ordeal with Bosch blades and a pot of coffee. Who'd have known that 13" blades for a front windshield would have been so hard to find at WalMart?

Seriously, most 13" blades I found were for a rear wiper. There's a difference??

Which make/model did you get?

Do the map lights work?

yes. Tied to the interior lights. It's surprising how handy they are.

Here's the wiring harness connection. Used a run-of-the-mill Dupont crimp connector. Fortunately, the same pitch as the harness (I don't like cutting off factory connectors). Wrapped it in electrical tape.
