California Norcal Jeep Adventure Christmas tree run

I’m 99 percent there. I would like to know what FS roads you are taking. Either we drive 2 hours to the meet up or come in from the valley.

I know that Fouts Springs to Penny Pines CG is about 1.5hrs., unless you run into snow along the way, then longer. You'd probably be better off to pavement pound it to Upper Lake then take the 311 to the 7 to go home. Snow permitting, of course.

5 more days and it looks like we won't have any shortage of the white stuff. Weather is taking a break Tuesday & Wednesday and weather coming back in on Thursday through Saturday. Doesn't look heavy for Saturday. Get up in the higher elevation and will probably be snowing on us. We'll just go until the snow gets too deep and then stop. Enjoy the snow and then come back. Everyone still game!? :)

I'm in. The wife may bail though since has finals the next week.

Charlie coming? Or solo?
All the kids bailed on me since grandma is coming to town. I'm not sure if I would want to bring Charlie solo yet anyways 🤣 I'm sure next year it will be a lot easier since she'll be 3. Maybe I could convince the dog. @tomtaylz do you want to join? 🤷‍♂️

I have some old rough upper half doors, did you want them for the frames and just put new skins on them? I'll bring them Saturday if you want them.
I'll take a look at them on Saturday. Thank you.

With this forecast, it looks like I'll need to throw a few extra beers in the cooler for winching fees.

So this brings into mind a PSI question for snow. Does it depend on how deep the snow is ? Only a foot and drop the psi 18-20? Or way low so the footprint is bigger?
From my experience, I don’t drop too low on the PSI in the snow, I want them digging cause I don’t think lower psi will keep me from bottoming out in deep stuff. Plus if I throw on the chains the psi needs to be up.
Just for discussing, I have no worries about getting stuck with you guys
