Back After 19 Years

Hello. I leased a 97 Wrangler in 1997, got rid of it 3 years later for a more practical vehicle, a pickup truck. Just bought a used 99 after all these years. My Jeep is bone stock. 4.0L, 5 speed. 124,600 miles. Full doors, soft top. No rust. I plan to do a few things this winter, probably start with a BL and tires.

Thanks. I hope to gain insight in these forums. When I had my 97 TJ, they were too new and the internet wasn't really being utilized yet. And it was a lease. Really looking forward to doing some mods to make it badass. I'm in NE Ohio.

Very nostalgic. Felt weird driving this Jeep for the first 10 miles. Then it all seemed natural after some point down the road.

I got it in an online auction for $5k.

Unless that frame is rusted through, (I don’t see any rust) you stole that thing!

Frame is in good shape, minor surface rust in some spots, nothing bad.
