I was deployed as a 15t crew chief in august of 01 at Camp Doha Kuwait, I loved the Army as much as I loved food, turned 30 over there and I think I gained 30 pounds in 30 days from all of the stress. Glad you are back. If you have your A&P, I can get you a good job in salt Lake city, Or if you want to become a professional pilot, PM me for details if interested. Tim

Thank you for your service, my mom talked me out of it regretfully. Looks like a great build pile, and an even better beer choice. If you’re ever in the Denver area - ping me and I’d love to buy you some beers.

it’s crazy now walking around the companies. More sleeves with no combat patch then the ones that have them.

welcome home.

Those days will slip by fast if you don’t get some progress in.

LOL. Yeah, lot of "Slick Sleeves" out there.

UPDATE! So I've been busy. Had a great Christmas, went on a kick ass vacation, and spent a lot of time drinking beer and working on my Jeep. I'm about done with this phase of the mods. I didn't have any real problems with any of the installs. Only a few minor adjustments here and there. I'm happy to say I have no vibes and my ride in general is much smoother than before.
The one downside is that I'm still on 3.73's and stock axles. It's bearable for now; next up is 5.13's and
Cro-Mo's.
To recap, this is what I installed:

4" coil springs
1.25" Savvy Body Lift
Savvy Transfer Case Shifter
UCF Skidplate
MetalCloak front track bar
MetalCloak rear track bar and bracket
JKS 1" MML
Rancho 5000x shocks
Rock Hard Dana 30 Diff Guard
Grab Bars
35 " KM3's on AR Ansen 969 wheels

Here's what I started with; OME 2.5" lift and 32's, Core 4x4 Control Rods, ZJ steering, and BMB brake pads. Dana 30 with Aussie locker and Dana 44 with Detroit Tru-Trac.
Not bad, but room for improvement.

Here's a good shot of the front end mods; track bar, coils, bumpstops, shocks, MML, and diff guard.

My wife surprised me with a Pioneer Double Din Stereo for Christmas. I used this adapter kit:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y493WRN/?tag=wranglerorg-20
It had everything I needed for the install. Nice quality bezel and wiring harness. It looks like a factory install.
The Grab Bars were the big surprise. They make ingress/egress so much easier. How did I get by without them.
You can see the huge crack in my windshield in the pic. Just happened 3 days ago on the freeway..... Jeep life is good, but not perfect...

Here's the final product. 4" coils , 1.25" body lift, skid plate, mild TT, and 35's. I'm very happy with the results. I've got extended brake lines arriving tomorrow and should have gears and axles before wheeling season. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Uncensored butt crack, it really bothered me at first but I'm getting used to it.

Some of you guys put it all on the line, all I can say is THANK YOU for your service.
THANK YOU for keeping my family safe in the this f'd up world.
And welcome home to to you and to your families you deserve my upmost respect.

Looks sharp, I actually kind of like those wheels (which is weird, because I'm very picky when it comes to wheels).

Thanks, Chris. I actually picked these wheels out over 3 years ago. I knew I had to have them when the time and money became available to upgrade.
I like their new-ish modern twist on the old classic Ansen's. I thought they worked perfect with the color and style of my Jeep too.

Definetly put mine to good use with some Savvy CAs, rear tire carrier, rear bumper, sye/ DC driveshaft, and winch. Sad thing was that whereas I was with only a few others from my unit that went to the middle east, the majority of my unit deployed to Europe and came home with 8k more than we did due to insane per diem rates... Oh well, the Cab, deployment patch, and purple heart were worth it I guess.
