Bought a heated seat cover!! Only 9 bucks at Wally World. LOL

It has a cigarette style plug so I had to install the female portion to be able to use it. I had taken my cigarette lighter port out a while back ago and switched it to a USB port.

Now I will have a nice and toasty back side. :D That is the one thing I actually missed about the Liberty. The heated seats felt so good on my sore back after I got off work. :D

Also, my parts for my JKS links came in. Hopefully I will finally be able to install the links this weekend. :D

someone somewhere dropped the ball initially, i had called state farm a week ago and was told safelight would contact me shortly. well a week passed without hearing back from anyone, called insurance last night and safelite was out first thing this morning.

Put the doors on for a wheeling trip tomorrow. Its going to be 60 degrees or so, that's a little chilly for the interstate ride there with no doors. I think this is the first time I have driven with doors on, windows up, and all three soft top windows out. I was amazed at how quiet it was compared to doors off, all three soft top windows out or doors on, windows down, all three soft top windows out

Not exactly something I did today, but over the course of a couple weeks.
I got a CEL, and P0700 and P0740 codes came up. From research here and elsewhere, it seemed that it could be anything from low or dirty trans fluid, a sticky or failing TCC solenoid, or even a bad torque convertor.
Being I've got 160,000 miles on my LJ, if it was more than a fluid deal, I was preparing myself to go with a rebuilt trans and convertor. Being I needed to get my Jeep smogged sometime in the next 1-1/2 months, I was kind of up against a deadline.
I started by changing out the fluid and filter, but 100 miles later the CEL came back on with the same codes. The trans really didn't seem to be acting poorly, the shifts were fine, but I think torque convertor wasn't locking up at times.
I gambled and decided on another fluid and filter change. So far, over 600 miles without a CEL, and I got her smogged. I'm still prepared to replace the trans at some point in the not distant future, but all seems well for now.

Woke up early and fired up the heat in the garage, spent the day working on the Heep and watching Hammers. Solid axle 1 - 2 finish!

Installed a double din stereo.

Involves some hackery

That turned into more hackery

That turned into rewiring all the rear lights so I could finally install that third brake light and backup camera

New 35 lb/hr injectors showed up

Cleaned up the gauge installation and wired in a HPTuner Prolink for data logging. Noticed rust at the base of my windshield. Sad.

Muuuuuuch better than the Xtrons unit I had

Cheap camera but works well enough to see a child. Bought a second one for the front but might not bother.

Dropped the transfer case about another half inch to make the 3.5" lift smoother on the freeway (it doesn't feel like the space shuttle re-entering the atmosphere anymore) until I can gather up the bits to put the TC back up high.

Swapped out the minimalist bar bumper with a cheap oedro bumper/winch plate jobber So I can have fog lights and someday a winch.

Replaced the radiator when the top cracked all down the length of it 👀

Still assessing and triaging various minor issues. I've only had it two weeks and it's definitely my favorite vehicle I've ever owned! Easy to work on and fun to drive. Can't wait to get up in the hills with it😉

Gained 2.25" of ground clearance w/a UCF Extra Clearance Skid. Engine skid yet to be installed. Also replaced a ridiculous Magnaflow exhaust system that I installed 3 yrs ago. The stock exhaust was rotted. I like the look/design of the Magnaflow, but it was ridiculously loud. Now I have a Gibson cat back. Soo much nicer.

My pallet of parts is growing.
