Trying to determine lift height

kind of hard to accurately differentiate 0.5 mm on a spring that is pretty rusted

so theoretically, if you had the " 2" lift springs" and achieved a stock ride height due to the added weight, if i were to put in 4" lift springs, with the added weight, wouldnt i achieve the extra 2" of ride height that im looking for?

That's the idea. To offer an extreme case, mine used to have a very very heavy rear bumper and tire carrier. In order to get a measured 2" lift in the back, I needed to use 3" springs. That's the simplified version.

With OME, people seem to get hung up on light, medium and heavy duty and what they think those words mean on their Jeep.

Yours shouldn't need to be that complicated to work out since OME isn't the right set of options for the job.

Get some decent 3" springs and see what happens. A thin pair of spacers can be used to fine tune the front or rear ride height.

i have a set of OME 4" springs sitting on my work bench. was going to return them but i may give them a shot and see if they level things out a bit.

Wrap the ends in tape in case the height is too much.
