So I have a 2 inch ome springs with 1 inch spacers on my 04 TJR. They've been on for about 1.5 to years now.

Just noticed the other day that out of the 4 springs, the front right is sagging easily 1 inch lower than the other 3.

I measured from the bottom lip on the flare to the top of the tread of the tire, on flat ground. All 4 tires are new and are the same. Same rims. All tires set to 26psi, checked immediately before measuring.

I took multiple measurements...I get 5 1/4th on the left side and 4 1/8th on the right side. The rears are each about 5" to 5 1/4-ish.

Any idea what would cause this?

I'm running a warn front bumper and a 9k winch with rope. Nothing has been added to just the right side, nor is there any cargo in the jeep.

I did my best to parking lot measure just the springs bredily before work today and I got something to the effect of 13 on the right side and 14 on the left. Give or take 1/4th of an inch here or there.

Could the spring be pushing itself into the bottom of the spacer? I'm pretty sure I have the order wrong on my spacer- stock pad combo

I've attached pics if it help, hopefully more educated eyes than mine can give me some clues.

FYI, all the dirt and grim you see is from fluid film and winter

Tanks for any help!!!!

Have you measured the springs themselves? That would be a more accurate measurement. It might not be a sagging spring at all.

Yeah, I mentioned earlier that I did a quick spring only measurement before work, and I got roughly 13 inches on the right and 14 on the left.

Give or take 1/8 or and inch or so. It was a quick measurment

The biggest reason I asked is if your spring was sagging that much on the right front corner it should translate to more than the 1/4" difference in the rear.

Another possibility that just entered my brain, are you running a gas charged shock? even though they aren't technically supposed to lift a vehicle a shock that has lost pressure might give you that slight difference in ride height?? Just a guess?

I'm running rancho rS999239 9000xls up front. My body mounts are in good shape. Im taking it apart tomorrow on my day off...so I'll check the shocks while I got it apart.

theres not a certain way to install or seat the front springs is there?

surely the flares are the same size?

OME springs are labeled A/B maybe swap them side/side?
Battery is on that side, but weight balance should be pretty even on the TJ. It's not like some where the batt, gas tank and driver are all on the same side.

Or just add a spacer and move on

I'm sure I've measured in the past, and they were equal. And I'm sure I would've noticed if they weren't the same size when installed.

I'm pretty perplexed on this.

I just recently went up to new 33s, and I noticed it immediately upon install.

Didn't @ac_ have this issue as well?

I remember that thread! If i recall correctly, his issue was a huge rake from front to rear upon install. I think he got new springs in the end?

Mines just one corner, and I'm almost positive it hasn't always been that way.

My money is on maybe I installed the A spring on the passenger side, and maybe a spacer getting smushed or something, both culminating to the lost height ...idk. but I'm going to take them both out and measure their uncompressed lengths, and check my Daystar spacers.

And reinstall them in the proper order

His was a weird deal. The 942's gave him a crazy rake, like 2". Weird thing about that, he sent his old springs to me. I installed them and barely got any rake, like 1/2" if that.

There definitely is a difference in coil height between the A and B spring.

Yep, that's some weird shit indeed!

Well the front A Is supposed to go to the drivers side right? Because the added weight of the driver all the time should help equal out the height? Isn't that the idea behind it?

So theoretically I should have it right. If the B spring and my weight were on the driver's side, then I'd have a bad take on that side.

Might just have to add an extra spacer to equal them out. Is that a legit solution?

Yep, it's legit. OME makes a 10mm spacer that can help with that.

To add, measure on flat ground to reference points on the frame. Measuring from the plastic flares can give you inconsistent measurements. I like to measure from the lower control arm mounts and the weld seam. You may find out that you are not as bad as it appears.

Through several sets of OME springs, mine always ended up with the tall springs both on the passenger side.

See I feel like the rake wasn't there originally.

But that was a year ago, and before the warn bumper

Mine was the most level with Both A springs on the driver side. New wheels/tires can certainly change the appearance of how the jeep sits.
