Axle breather hose

So, I just had dana 44, 4.88 with elockers installed in my 05 about a month ago. Changed the fluid at 500 mile mark and put the amount of oil suggested by jeep mechanic. No issues, no leaks.

Fast forward to today, drove on freeway, like I normally do and noticed a leak coming from breather hose. Any ideas?

I have not taken it out or driven it hard.

Probably a little high on the fluid level. It’ll stop when it gets to where it wants. Then check the dipstick on your cover. From then on you’ll know how much to put in.

Beendriving it for amonth and no over spill till today

How much did you put in the front?

2 in the front. 2.5 in rear...

Again, first time im getting over spill

Are you sure it is gear oil from the vent tube? Did you install a locker at the same time?

Also, unrelated to this thread--but take a close look at where your tie rod is. You're awfully close (if not already) contacting the diff cover with it.

a locker was installed. It was all installed by currie.

It's just the angle on tie rod. It goes closer when i wentfrom a dana 30 to 44
