I see some aftermarket mods.
I would suggest to double check all the VINs
I think the '97-'02 hard top does not fit in '03 - '06.

Just FYI for folks that find this thread later. The hardtop fits no problem. You just have the extra vents at the rear side corners. The newer style hardtop didn’t have vents bc jeep added a vent to the rear tailgate.

I stand corrected.
That was long time ago but now I remember it was just the vent.
