Did you make the truss?Painted the high pinion Dana 30! Rust-Oleum hammered was the paint choice. View attachment 152909View attachment 152910View attachment 152911View attachment 152912View attachment 152913
Yes it is an Or-Fab. It was the previous owner that added the shelf. I wish I knew how to weld. I don't have the original brackets that came with it for Jerry cans.Is that an or-fab tyre carrier? I'm interested to see what looks like a shelve you've made?

Had to take it back to the shop after I did... I'm telling you guys you'll get the pictures when I get the jeep back I promise. If not you guys can kick me out
What did you do to prep for the painting. I recently bought a Dana 44 that I will eventually install in my TJ replacing the Dana 35. I was thinking of once I have it all stripped down I would take it to a local shop and have it sand blasted. Once it is nice and clean I would paint it. Did you clean/degrease the axle yourself? If so what did you use?Painted the high pinion Dana 30! Rust-Oleum hammered was the paint choice. Ive grown to believe those particular JK wheels look the best of the Jk wheels when bolted onto a TJ/LJ. Especially with your exterior paint colorHere is a picture of the 2017 Rubicon wheels and tires I got on craigslist before I took it in for paint and body work. Hoping to pick it up this week

Jounce bumper or bump stop. They just pull off. Try twisting while pulling. You should be able to squeeze it through the coil.I was able to continue on my front axle today, tomorrow I will remove the coil spring to better remove the rust.
I wish my axle would be as beautiful as Jake Kozlowski's
