Recommendations on XJ Forums?

I'm looking for an XJ for new driver and to have as another weekend driver for my wife. Is there a comparable forum out there that you'd recommend?

Looking to do some light research and see what the chatter support out there looks like.

No problem. Just waiting until we are all moved and settled in down in Arizona to get back on track. It’s been a hectic month planning all this out of state moving and everything.

Any thoughts on this one? I don't like the high miles but I have some money in my budget to address what I think I don't know. If it doesn't sell at the woman's 9:30 showing I may go take a look.

Looking for an XJ for my daughter's first car to thump around locally for a few years and for me to make Home Depot runs etc.

Assuming I find no rust, have a decent test drive, and find no significant source of leaking, I intend to have a mechanic do a thorough once over and I will replace interior carpets and maybe have to do some seat rehab. I have a 1998 TJ part out project I never really started which has a good motor which I would guess is an option should I need it here.

The end goal is a classic looking (very nice but not perfect) looking XJ that is reliable.

Can I get there for $5,000?

I used Cherokeeforum a lot more than NAXJA. The NAXJA guys can be jerks sometimes, and it's always been that way. Cherokeeforum is a lot more friendly towards newbies.
