Currectlync install issue

Running a 4in lift, just took out the whole front end suspension. I'm putting everything back on and I'm putting the CURRECTLYNC Heavy-Duty Tie Rod System with the OEM pitman arm. My wheel is off and I can't make the drag link shorter. Nothing is tighten down yet. Old owner had a drop pitman arm installed before, when I try using the the drop pitman arm it fits perfect, wheel is centered. So can someone tell me the exact procedure to get it straight?

You’re trying to get the drag link shorter to fit? You should be making it longer to work with an OEM pitman arm vs shorter with the dropped pitman. Do you have pics? I have the Currie steering with OEM pitman and 4” of lift as well. About an 1” of threads showing on the adjuster on both sides of it.

You’re trying to get the drag link shorter to fit? You should be making it longer to work with an OEM pitman arm vs shorter with the dropped pitman. Do you have pics? I have the Currie steering with OEM pitman and 4” of lift as well. About an 1” of threads showing on the adjuster on both sides of it.

Right now the way it is, If I turn the wheel to the right it doesn;t turn all the way but the left is fine. What I done is
-Set up tires straight
-Set steering wheel straight
-Attach pitman arm
then when i go to attach the drag link, its way too long

So to fit in I have to turn the wheel to the left.

Okay so you’re steering wheel isn’t actually straight. Right now you have it turned one rotation from straight. Unbolt the connection. Turn the wheel one rotation to the left until it is correctly oriented and then move the adjuster until it lines back up again.

Somewhere in your install you set it up with the pitman arm not in the middle of the steering gear travel.

Okay so you’re steering wheel isn’t actually straight. Right now you have it turned one rotation from straight. Unbolt the connection. Turn the wheel one rotation to the left until it is correctly oriented and then move the adjuster until it lines back up again.

Ok so you're saying turn the wheel and then turn the adjuster as to open it correct? I mean I can't make it any shorter. Setting this up is like a puzzle lol

Okay, here is a good quick check. How far from the castle nut on the pitman arm to the frame is yours? Basically what happened was your steering gear isn’t in the middle of its travel. You can turn one way all the way but not the other.

First mistake you made was touching the steering wheel while putting the steering parts on. You don’t adjust the steering wheel until it’s all connected.
