I am new to Jeeps and new to this website. I don’t post much but I am on this site constantly. I would like to thank everybody responsible for this site. I can’t believe the knowledge on this site. All I have to do is search on this site and I find whatever I need. I am ordering 4.56 gears for my Jeep this week it has the 3.07’s and 33 inch tires. It is the 6 speed manual transmission with 4.0 and 2006 model. I changed my spark plugs and used what was recommended here and it runs like a different Jeep. If everybody goes by the suggestions here I don’t think you can go wrong. Just want to thank everybody here.

I joined this forum after being directed to it a dozen times from Google searches. The knowledge and experience on this forum are outstanding, closely followed by the sarcasm.
@Chris has a ‘no sarcasm’ policy that is strictly enforced - I think it’s in the user agreement when you create an account.
I generally find the sarcasm to be outstanding. Some of it is more cutting than the tech is good.

I would say if you can deal with Blaine, @jjvw’s revolving door of questions, @Squatch’s thread detailing, and the Savvy fan boys (myself included) who will tell you Savvy is always the answer (

@AndyG may occasionally show up with more grammatical spaces than you’ll ever understand and you’ll come to find that we even have @Zorba male belly dancer who shoots guns, hates communist California, and drives a TJ to boot. So I’d say we have a little of everything around these parts!
You just have to be aware there is a heavy cloud of sarcasm and dry wit going around.
Don’t end up like @Equilibrium31 either, where the forum nut jobs like @Apparition, @reddvltj, and @mxz800 drive you to your breaking point

That's a good start, some general advice to keep you going in the right direction:
No matter how stupid/controversial/unpopular your opinion on any given subject may be, stick to it as if your life depends on it.
Never, ever, back down.
Give at least as much shit as you get.
Get your hands dirty under the hood.
Pee outside more than inside.
Don’t put a snorkel on your TJ.
And most importantly, always post pictures even if they have nothing to do with what you’re talking about, as in my morning coffee view a couple hours ago

As a Brit I've been pleasantly surprised by the way you colonial chaps conduct yourselves on this site.
Some of you appreciate a British sense of humour.
Some of you appreciate irony and can separate it from sarcasm.
Some of you are very patient with those of us who are baffled by the search function and ask about stock tyre sizes ( thanks Jerry).
Most of you are generous and helpful.
My experience here has completely buggered up my American stereotyping.
Note - correct spelling (English rather than American) will continue to be used in my posts.
