I believe OME tried to design their spring lineup for about the same lift height over a variety of possible applications. Through spring rate and/or unsprung length changes to compensate for heavier rigs. And then all kinds of variations just to give people options.
But they should probably spend some time writing up a brochure or something that explains it all in a straight forward manner.

So you have quite a bit of rake there. I would guess that if an aftermarket bumper and a winch were added you would drop another 1/2" in the front with those springs.
I can’t answer that question. There are too many variables.I am hoping to net around 2” of lift front and rear. Which springs would you recommend for that? It sounds like the 2933 medium duty springs would get close to 2” in the front but what about the rear??
With the weight of a 4.0 hanging on the front springs I think most any of the options would work out well. The trick (in my experience) is getting the rear springs to move. You sit above that axle and will feel its motion the most. Probably around 75% of your ride quality is from how the rear axle is set up. I have always run with no back seat, other than when I had a girlfriend with kids. That was in a CJ-7 and when it went from mostly empty to a bench, 3 kids, and all the extra stuff needed with 3 kids the whole rear acted totally different.
It is a lot easier to have a softer spring and a firmer shock handle extra weight then it is for a heavier spring, regardless of shock, to flex with little weight. That is why (I think) 0ME offers different spring rates. If you plan to go around with the back empty (like I do) then go with the light spring. Otherwise I would say the medium spring would be the better fit. Achieving an exact 2" of lift for your specific Jeep is very difficult to achieve when every TJ will be built different and weigh different. If you need that exact amount of lift then adding a small spacer is about the only way to nail it. I feel that the ride quality is more important than whether the lift ends up at 1.87 inches or 2.13 inches. Everyone is different making the choice of lift kit a very personal matter. If you are going for a 4" lift then companies can expect the buyer to be doing a lot more extreme offroad driving and that can help them design the springs and shocks more closely to your needs. The 2" lift is used by people that will never go farther than the mall to the other side where people are going just short of Johnson Valley type of offroading.
I didn't even finish reading that. Find us one spring available for the TJ that is so stiff that it won't compress. Just like every other time, you won't do it. And you won't do it because you can't.You are absolutely correct. "As long as the shock and other physical constraints allow the flex to occur ". Meaning as long as the spring rate is low enough to flex. An overly stiff spring will not flex as easily as a softer spring. Will it still flex? Definitely. Will it flex as much? Definitely not. Will a spring with too low a rate be ideal? Again, no. That is why OME offers so many different choices. You may have a lot of cargo weight and heavy side armor that would be better served by a firmer spring. Or you may run around with not even a spare tire and be best with a softer spring. There are a lot of variables that go into choosing the BEST solution for each vehicle. A firm shock can restrict the soft spring so it will act like a heavier one, but a hard spring does not move as much regardless of other factors. It is stunningly simple to understand.
Perhaps you might want to read the whole post before you start puffing up your chest. How you argue with something you haven't bothered to read is very telling. Very telling indeed.
Select a spring that creates the desired ride height. Select a shock that controls the ride in an agreeable manner and is the correct length. The rest is all clutter that only creates confusion.

Sweet bearded baby jesus thats a lot of options.... sometimes too many is a bad thing. thanks for the post. in the OME planning stages currently.I just did the OME 2.5" lift with 2933/2949 springs and a .75" spacer in front. I have an LJ set up to tow so I went heavier shocks in the rear. Rancho 55239/55241 shocks. JKS OGS151/OGS126 adjustable track bars.
I gained 3.25" (2.5"+.75" spacer) in front and 2.75" in the rear.
