What's the best way to pull a car off of a concrete median?

You sound like an un-selfish person who will go out of their way to help someone out, so would you do me a favor and go slap some since into Mitt Romney for me! I would really appreciate it.

Personally I think Romney is doing good. I don't agree with everything he says or his religion but I'm glad he has a spine and voted the way he did.

What happened to the good samaritan law. Al long as they give you the strap, cable or chain, you are only helping "them".

A wheel adapter for the high lift would have worked to jack it up. But you'd still have to find a bunch of things to stack under the tire to keep it up.

The tow truck drivers seem to like hooking up to the lower A arms a lot.

Spare tire off the Jeep and another from the car might work to stack under it.

That definitely would've worked. Now I just need to find somewhere I can buy a wheel adapter from.

My list of things I want to buy for my Jeep keeps growing lol.

Going back to the original topic, the driver said he thought he was driving his TJ.
Only realized when he tries to grab the lever for the 4L

This is what I've seen professional tow/recovery guys do. Use soft shackles on the lower A arm. Or place a hook in one of its several holes.

And I've also heard them say they don't use that thing that screws into the bumper as a recovery point. It just can't handle useful forces especially not at any angle.

Tieing to the A Arm..... Tie to the frame puts double the stress on the wheel buried than tieing to the A Arm near the chassis. That said, if the frame is high centered, pull on the frame. If the vehicle just went off road and cannot find traction to get out of the ditch, the tie in point is irrelevant, frame, A Arm, factory tow point, a 1000K pound winch will likely pull him up the slope,
