Back in March when I was contemplating what could fill my time, I started buying up Jeep accessories to do some cosmetic and just some fun stuff. I knew some of the projects would take a few days and I wanted to wait until I could get several days in a row that would be nice and comfortable since the shed isn't air conditioned (Texas heat, I live out in the country). Well, it took me about six months to get to the interior work.
1. New internal shifter boot. Now I won't get the heat blasts.
2. New Bedrug. You don't have to remove the seats, but since I was replacing them I removed the seats and the console since I was replacing the boot. Cleaned the tub (great shape, no rust, Jeep has been in Texas its whole life). Made it real easy.
3. New Bestop front and rear seats. I got the Trail Max II seats with the fabric insert for the front, plain vinyl for the rear. I thought about not even getting a rear. My old seats were in pretty bad shape, I considered just redoing them, but in the end decided on the Bestops. Very comfortable and more lumbar support!
4. Tuffy underseat security drawer. Concealed carry. The console is Tuffy also, but has other junk in it.
5. I found an OEM, still in the box InstaTrunk. Love it. Had the Tuffy, but this one is OEM and says Jeep on it.
6. OEM jack and tools. No more rattling around.
7. Inside Winch Controls.
Still have more to do, but it's time to go riding in the Jeep somewhere!
