Is it possible to replace the entire exhaust without removing the skid plates?

What a thread.

How about ya just try to install the exhaust and see if you need to take the plate off? Sitting here online calling people disgusting isn't fixing your Jeep.

Sorry you’re offended. Says a whole lot about your character to insult others with names for bringing up a good point. You’re incompetent.
I may be incompetent but I'm smart enough to know that working smarter is not leaving the skid in place to work on the exhaust system. Unfettered access is very high value when it comes to that job and given the ease that any belly skid can be dropped, there is simply no intelligent reason to make one's life far more difficult and complicated than it needs to be. You are not working smarter and you will be working harder which is the direct opposite of what you said, thus the "urine idiot" part.

Recognizing stupidity and calling it out is very much a part of my character so there is that. If you don't want to be offended, don't post up stupid shit.

If you are so convinced it will be easier then why ask? When everyone says its a bad idea you get insulted. Sounds like you had your mind made up before posting.
I’m not insulted I’m kind of surprised tbh HAHAHHA. People telling me how stupid this idea is etc etc and offended at me bringing up a good point? Surprising. My mind is made up but I thought to get input from other tj owners. Bad idea I think. I’m going to take a video of me doing this job so others can see how it goes and much more time it will take:)

He wanted to be offended. There is no other reason to post up something that dumb and then double down on it.

You’re a disgusting human being and should be ashamed. You’re not to be acknowledged. That’s all I have to say to you. Nothing more.

My incompetent ass can have the skid plate off before you figure out how to turn on the camera.

But, you just acknowledged me, didn't you? Ha Ha!! There is one good thing we can all learn from this though. Another fucktard from Canada strikes again. That and someone should spank you for using anything to do with the name Skyler.

A jack, 2 sockets, an impact, 6 bolts and 4 nuts and the skid is down.

Exactly.

My first thought is he worked with Bill M., and he is just trolling. If he isn't trolling maybe he should take a breath, realize the world isn't against him, and it is him against the world.

Yes hahaha I’m well aware— iv taken my skid plates off a dozen times hahaha I was just asking if anyone has done the exhaust this way before and if it was easier for them is all LOL. It seems easier to me before even trying it. To just cut infront of the rear cat, cut behind the muffler where the tail pipe begins, my hangers already tore off so my exhaust is just sitting there on my skid plate so all I have to do is pull this part out after cutting it which will take less then 2 minutes lol. Assemble my new muffler to the rear cat, get on my back...shove the hanger into the rubber boot and that’s done? How is this harder and more difficult then taking the time to remove a 60lb skid plate, jacks, etc etc when I don’t NEED to?

you dont even need that rear cat just sell that government crap and buy yourself a beer. You're gonna need one after messing with the exhaust without removing the skid.
Jeep exhaust will be too loud with the performance exhaust without rear cat:). Plus it came with the catalytic converter

Seems like this is the point where you make reference to the OP's origins, north of the border...

Oops, missed the reference here. Dang, you let this one play out for a while, eh?
