What did you do to your TJ today?

TJ oil filter position Sucks! I dont believe anyone who says they just unscrew it and lift it off without spilling old oil all over the place unless you have the reach of an "orangutan"!
I never learned - cursed / dropped so many oil filter filled with gunky shit splattered in my garage so many times, slipped through my fat fingers :(

New headlights, grille insert and now changing out all of the fluids

That looks Awsome. What paint and color?
Dull Aluminum

Raw aluminum is pretty tough to color match, l wonder if doing a brushed nickel plate would look closer?

I was trying to match the Genright Hi-fenders that have a dull/brushed finish. This Rust-Oleum dull aluminum color is too bright. Maybe too much silver. I'll take a look at what's available in a brushed nickel color. Thanks for the suggestion.

Got a bike rack! I was bored so I checked out "Gumtree" (Aussie version of Craig's List) and somebody was selling a brand new Thurle tow hitch bike rack for $70au only a few miles from me, they cost $200au ($140 us) retail in Australia! so I took a chance on it not fitting the TJ and bought it anyway. Turns out perfect fit for us pizza cutter advocates. Bargain at $50us :) So simple to attach/detach and its built very well in Sweden, no movement at all its "Rock Solid"

Now you need a bike to go with it. ;)

What about a right angle filter adapter so it hangs down? Or better yet, is there such a thing as a cartridge filter adapter?
You can do a remote oil filter with a relocation kit but a couple oil changes a year, a little oil to wipe up isn’t worth the trouble or cost.

Dont think it will handle my fat E bike just like the bike dont handle Fat me :) That is where my ozTent RV1 touring tent is going to be carried, I don't need to fit roof cross bars to the hard top now, wasnt looking forward to drilling holes in a good hard top. This carrier is really well made, on & off in seconds and folds up neat N small.

I have drilled a hole in my 6.7 filters, let em drain , and then yank em. They are vertical and still dump oil.

removed the CB that was mounted on the dash and installed a Cobra 75 that I had. I did not like the one on the dash. Nothing wrong with the CB itself, just didn't like the location and didn't see many other options without spending some money (I am kinda tight). LOL

The new look, much better. Plus the Cobra also has weather band. Now I need to find a remote speaker for it. OR, any reason I couldn't run a cable from the remote speaker output to the aux input on the Jeep radio? Since I will never be running both at the same time.
