8hrs on the road today, but worth it to hang with the crew and search for what little snow we could find. UTC was a bust as they were closed due to no snow, so we pushed on to Loon Lake.

We ended up at the Rubicon trailhead, we skied down to the Beer Tree for lunch and then played for a bit on the Granite Slab.
got some good winch practice on the way back out, here’s Alex being a Good Samaritan.
