32RH Tummy Tuck Skid Plate Opinions

Ok all of you tummy tuck individuals.

If you had a 32RH transmission which aluminum tummy tuck skid plate would you go with? UCF offers one that works with the auto, GenRight requires the weld in mount that’s separate from the skid itself, Savvy doesn’t offer one and not sure other choices.

Recommendations and opinions are welcomed.

Id always recommend doing a dedicated cross-member. Then it makes skid choice just one of dimension and material.

Dedicated crossmember with the ucf skid. If you go that route you want the 3/8” thick skid. 1/4” bends extremely easily with practically no bracing....

It is something he has made for a personal jeep of his. Really impressive design but definitely time consuming.

I did see that one. I’ve thought about building it myself pretty hard but it’s my daily driver so the trial an error I can’t afford. I’d also have to get a skid built and I don’t have a local shop with a press break so one other hurdle.

The UCF shows it will work for both manual and auto, I know @starkey480 put one on his but he has the manual so again curious if anyone has used the UCF with the 32RH.

One thing I did notice on Blaine’s is the skid in the pics didn’t have any “ramp” front or rear which I think I’d want to prevent snagging. He may have added it after but the pic I saw didn’t have these.

I've built more than a couple, none are ramped that way.

Yes, I have 1.25" body lift, 1" motor mount lift, Savvy shift cable, ultra short slip yoke eliminator. That all give me enough room to run a factory trans mount. It's a tight fit but it all works fine. I think the exhaust was the biggest pain. getting it stuffed up and not rattling on any thing. A separate crossmember would have been nice but once it is done, how often are you going to take it down?

Perfect. That’s my exact setup so it should be fairly bolt in if I go this route.
