X2$300.00 is a great price.... make sure all the pieces are there and bolt 'er on before you pay.
Now you're making things difficultSo how do I operate the rear defrost it says it has?stupid question probably
Will I be ok without the rear defrost? My boyfriend is an electrician so maybe he could rig something. ? Also, the guy says he has a factory soft top with side doors. Are those side doors only for that factory soft top? I asked him and he said the material matches the factory soft top. I'm wondering if I'd want the half doors to use with my soft top or is it specific to the factory one?Now you're making things difficult. Odds are not good you'll get the rear defroster or wiper working. It takes a special wiring harness with a relay that I don't believe is sold any more. I bought my hard top later and had to buy the wiring harness separately to make it work, wiring it without that wiring harness kit wouldn't be easy. Not to mention the wiring kit includes a timer to shut the defroster off so it doesn't melt on the glass from being on too long.

And when I asked if the wiring harness was included he said it's all wired and included? Now you're making things difficult. Odds are not good you'll get the rear defroster or wiper working. But he says that the glass slider doors are with the hardtop? Or am I mis understanding this? The sliders doors are the upper parts to the half door.
If its a MOPAR hardtop the windows can't slide without heavy modification, more than likely its what I stated above. But he says that the glass slider doors are with the hardtop? Or am I mis understanding this?
So if I don't have half doors for my hard top the glass slider doors will do me no good? Will this hardtop work with my stock doors and windows? Here's a pic of the windowsIf its a MOPAR hardtop the windows can't slide without heavy modification, more than likely its what I stated above.
The wiring harness is not THAT difficult and can be purchased/sourced with little difficulty.
This hardtop will work with factory hard doors, half doors and uppers, tube doors ect. The hardtop will not affect your door choice.View attachment 18121 View attachment 18122

Not nearly as easily as a soft top. It can be removed yes, just requires a good socket set to pull the glass and hinge combo off the hard top and disconnecting the hardware for the defrost and the windshield wiper motor. Its not something that is usually seen as "worth it", but to each their own.Curious — can you remove the back window of a hard top? Like you can with the soft top?
