Thinking about installing reverse lights and a switch to to either turn them off, on during reverse, or on. What have you done?

I have a couple old style 35 watt Halogen fog lights on my back bumper. I have them, (and all my lights), wired with a SPDT center off switch. Up is on, always hot, down activates them when shifted into reverse.
I probably sound like a talking parrot since I'm always repeating this, but I have these LED taillights, and the reverse on them is amazingly bright!

I know you wouldn't think so, but those taillights (and reverse lights) are so friggin bright it's crazy. I thought at one point about putting some LED lights on the back for when I need to see behind me, but once I bought those tails I scrapped that idea quickly. The bright reverse lights were something I definitely wasn't expecting.

I followed Chris' recommendation and installed those amazon LED taillights last week (Thanks Chris, again!). Easy install, and very impressed with the light output both for brake lights and reverse. I've had direct wired reverse lights on previous cars and there is definitely value there, especially when backing with a small trailer. Might still consider for the TJ too!
When I did my rear bumper refresh I picked up some cheap Amazon led backups and flush mounted them to the bumper. Just wired them to the backup circuit. They aren't insanely bright, but the definitely help me when backing into my carport at night.

Some LED pods I found on amazon that have held up well. Hooked up to the reverse wire and wired to a switch on the dash.
I added channel to a custom rear bumper and mounted led lights into the channel. The channel keeps them protected from debris from trails and such.

I got 'One' of these as I only have one reverse light.( The other side has a down light for the number plate)
Still very bright though and as easy to fit as changing the old glass light bulb.

This one was a simple install, using the stock tail light housing. No wires to run, with a tie in on the factory backup wire. You could switch it if wanted, but I was looking to make this as easy as possible. Here's a link to the detailed write-up I did.
