I'm putting in this Dana 44 and want to put new pads/rotors on. All I know is that it came out of an LJ, not sure what year. Did anything change on the rear disc components at all throughout the production years?

Nothing changed. All TJ rear OEM disc brakes are identical regardless of which model they were used on. TJ, TJ Unlimited, or TJ Rubicon.
