Best Mud Terrains

So im pretty new to all of this and im still learning so be patient with me lol. I bought a 2001 Jeep TJ about a year ago and iv'e been having tires problems for a while now (they are old tires that are pretty dry rotted from sitting) but ive had a couple bent rims which caused a small leak and also finding old nails/screws etc... penetrate my tire. All was good until I went out the other day and when climbing over a couple rocks and the entire sidewall of my tire ripped open. I was able to limp it back home on the spare which isnt the same size or width as the other tires. Currently im looking to upgrade all 4 tires because they are all old and dry rotted but have no idea which mud terrains are the best. Currently wanting to upgrade from 33s to 35x12.5R17s. If anyone has any suggestions id love to hear them.

You should probably ask the people you wheel with, what works best for where you wheel. Not that you won't get plenty of personal opinion here.

I agree, Never ran them. But the lug spacing and lug depth alone would translate to the better tire. I would have bought the KM2 if it was available to me at the time.

Going to 35s can be a very expensive experience. Do you already run adjustable control arms? Do you have a SYE installed? How big is your lift now? Does it already have a body lift?

I’m currently running the Maxxis Razr. There are a lot of very good reviews out there, which is why I went with them at the end of last year after cutting one of my Krawlers. The Razr‘s have a pretty aggressive tread, but ride very well and quietly on the street. I very happy with them so far.

KM2s are slightly better in the mud, KM3s arent as good in the mud, but slightly better everywhere else. Not to say they arent bad in the mud though
