Looking at this for the future, are they DOT approved? Just curious, and can you balance them?

The DOT does not approve anything. They are not a policing or enforcement agency. They create and publish a list of specifications that OEM and QVM must adhere to in order to sell their vehicles to the public. It is up to each company to interpret the specifications and build their vehicles and all parts used in them to the specifications. There is also no legal or illegal aspect to the specs, the item adheres to and meets the spec or it doesn't.

If it spins, it can be balanced, you may have to get creative with how you attach the weights but they can be balanced.

It looks like the Aero are steel only and no Alum and I don't see the Method offered in 15"

Yeah if aluminum and 15”, TrailReady and I believe OMF are your options. OMF will modify any wheel you want.

They will not be cheap. But good beadlocks aren’t unless you want to deal with the extra weight of steel. But honestly, my Aeros are 24 lbs each. Not sure how much aluminum saves but I also paid like $99 bucks and don’t mind beating them.

😎👍
