Yeah I guess they're cheaper than I thought! Wonder if it's worth it out here, or if it's really just not an issue in CO. They use mag chloride on the roads out here, but not sure if that's close enough to salt to really be an issue. Although maybe at 24 years old, that matters little with regards to rust...

That would be really nice! Probably works a lot better than just spraying directly in from the few holes on the side of the frame.
 
Had exhaust hangers fixed and new muffler put on. Video of sound in my build thread.

Then my brother massaged new MorRyde to fit with round taillights and painted to match the Jeep. Will feel better with 35 hanging on this.

today I finally did some engine bay cleaning, was tired of looking at mud on the inside of the hood & on every square inch of the engine & bay. I didn't go crazy, just took a squirt bottle filled with Simple Green & some rags & went bit by bit & got what I could off. The air filter cover was particularly nasty & it's got a bunch of crevices that are impossible to get to so I ran that puppy through the dishwasher 🧐, no wife = happy life 😁.

Shoulda taken some before shots but I didn't think of it, but it came out pretty decent:

Thanks...yes there is definitely a US theme there...Always been a fan of the US car culture ( Hot rods and the classics ) Love the sound of a lumpy cam in a Chevy V8 or Flat head with twin strombergs ….Ahhhh music to my ears lol

Finally fixed the annoying knocking sound coming from the driver's side rear wheel area.

Every time I brake there is a rhythmic knocking from that wheel.

Took the wheel off to check out the brakes and found the emergency brake cable was not anchored.
Looks like the PO didn't reattach it.
So I reattached it and all is good.

Opened Summit Racing shipment and found that the picker was too quick on the line. CE-9102JK is NOT the same part as CE-9102K.

I'll see if I can find other projects to keep me busy before the new Dana 30 joints come in and can finish the axles' cleaning and painting.

Argh! I get it as a simple mistake but frustrated to need to pick up and pivot to await the right parts...

I know how you feel frustrating when I've waited 3-4 weeks for a part then it arrives and its wrong....

I can definitely see how that would be frustrating! 😡🤣 Luckily for us in the US it’s a mistake that can be resolved with new parts delivered within just a few days!
With that being said, @FarFire70 if you complain loud enough hopefully they’ll ship you your replacement parts next day at their expense while you return yours and they don’t need to wait to receive your return before they’ll ship you your new ones. Considering it isn’t your fault.

I specifically ordered from Summit because of my want to get going on my build and recognizing that Savvy takes some time to get orders out. Now I wish I had supported a small business and (likely) been at a similar delay.....

I just could never get used to the halogen bulbs in my Cibie housings after driving my daily shitbox with factory LEDs for a few years so I'm trying out the Beamtechs.

I ordered a new clutch master/slave cylinder from Rockauto. When I knew it was on the truck and out for delivery, I removed the old one. They sent the wrong part and my Jeep is my DD. I had to walk 3 miles to Autozone and buy their DuroCRAP brand for double the price. I was pissed!
