Unless your a PhD chemist my experience using T6 trumps your internet opinion. That experince is close to 300k miles in multiple gas engines from POS lawn mowers to 12k rpm R6 race bikes.Ok, good luck with that
Some stores push synthetic but even my local California Autozone and even Walmart carry big stocks of conventional 10W-30. Try NAPA too.Maybe a Cali thing,, just got valvoline 10-30 at autozone in indiana ,,
I did some reading on Diesel oil as its cheaper and more readily available (In Australia) while the high Zinc content in diesel oil is really good for gas vehicles many now have other additives that are caustic and not so good for gas vehicles .Unless your a PhD chemist my experience using T6 trumps your internet opinion. A 4.0 while burning cleaner has less shear stress and thermal loading than the oil in a diesel. A 4.0 Is very well lubricated by T6.:
Not sure if you read the same thing I did, but I thought this was a pretty good read. I'm curious if they have changed the T6 formula much since this forum post.Unless your a PhD chemist my experience using T6 trumps your internet opinion. I actually read all of this link but a few months ago , not going to read it again lolNot sure if you read the same thing I did, but I thought this was a pretty good read. I'm curious if they have changed the T6 formula much since this forum post.
Like many I used to run whatever was cheap, for me the napa 10w30 made by valvoline, but according to this it is one of the worst options for additive packages. I've since switched to T6 about 40,000 miles ago. Have I been able to tell any difference, no. But this guy seems to know way more about oil than me and his reasoning seems sound, so I went with it, and T6 is just as cheap as anything else.

Probably from the first time I posted it in the other oil thread you were in. I don't care if you do or don't, but I doubt anyone can absorb all of it in one readingI actually read all of this link but a few months ago , not going to read it again lol
