DuncLJ's Big Bolt-On Bonanza

Installed my Savvy tail lights today. No issues, the instructions are clear and it's a pretty easy job. It's nice that Savvy includes all new hardware and even new shrink wrap connectors.

This closes out my "Low profile rear end".
Low profile bumper, relocated spare tire to the bed, relocated license plate, and now lo-pro tail lights. Not much sticking out any more.

I also replaced my quasi-tacky Rugged Ridge "Tire Track" console cover.

Never really fully embraced it.

Got a new cover from Redlinegoods.

Black leather with blue stitching, matches the Bartact seat covers perfectly.

I’m loving mine, but I’m not really digging the extra pad that hangs over on the driver side. I might trim that. But otherwise I love smelling the leather when I get in the jeep

You're totally right. I think if I trim the padding on the sides, it will fit better and smooth out any wrinkles. 🍻

Spring couldn't come soon enough!!!
It may not stay this way, but the forecast says 70's- 80's for awhile. It felt so good to roll with the bikini top and half doors.
Also this is the first time I have driven with the Banks Monster Exhaust without full doors or soft top. Definitely more of a rumble. I like it though...🍻

Went for a beer run.

I've switched from winter mode to summer mode twice this year now. Here in North GA our weather gets retarded. Last week it was in the 80's. Tonight the low is 28.

Heard that - we are in the same weather pattern here in TN. Chilly for the next few days. Better than the flooding of the last few days though...

You guys don't know crazy weather until you live next to an inland sea...The joke here is if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes!
I should be good for at least 10 days.

The killers down here are the tornados. Those are no joke. Worst 10 minutes anywhere if you are unlucky enough to be in the path of one.

Yeah, tornados are the worst. We get them here to, tho generally not as big or as frequent. I've been fortunate. Tonados have ripped out my trees, taken down my shingles, but I've never seen one in "real-life" or been adversely affected by one. Taken shelter plenty of times though! In 65, my Grandparents lost their house to the Palm Sunday tornado outbreak. Total loss...knocked it flat to the foundation.

Wow, that's a crazy fluctuation. Weather here is boring but predictable.

My old carpet was getting pretty worn and tired. It also works like velcro on pine needles and dog hair. It never looks good and clean, even right after I clean it.

I got some new Bedrug. It is waterproof, and doesn't have a deep nap in it to trap things.

Pulled out my old carpet, and set it next to the new pieces. The Bedrug is molded and pretty much cut exactly like the factory carpet.

I didn't remove the seats or console, no real need to. I just loosened the console so I could slide the BedRug under it . I would have removed everything if I had any tub repairs to do, but my tub looked really good.

Installation was pretty easy. Every piece fit well. The kit came with adhesive heat shield pieces for the driver and passenger floor.

Got it all in, and I think it looks pretty good. Hopefully it holds up well and is easier to maintain.

funny, I was just thinking of replacing my carpet, either ripping it out and line-x ing the tub, or replacing with something like bedrug, nice to see it fits correctly...and, yes, that tub of yours looks very clean!
