What did you do to your TJ today?

You don’t understand. I am an old man and years of driving and bouncing around in Jeep’s is why I needed this one. Bought my first in 1978. CJ 5.new off of the lot.
You know your not old you just say it like I do, I am 60 in a coupla days lol
That TJ is perfect as it is, got some pics of the interior?
My 65th is a 2006 fully optioned Sahara, not as nice as the one you got though.

Ordered new ball joints today and figured that since I’m going to have everything apart, now would be a good time to replace the wheel bearings and brakes. I need to replace the tie rod ends as well, and after doing some research here, I’ve ordered everything for the ZJ upgrade. I don’t have any plans to go to a smaller tire (currently running 33x10.5), so I bought the tools for the next time. I’ve never done anything like this before, so I’m looking forward to getting started.
I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me straightening out the po’s shortcuts, but expect to have it straight and solid before snow flies. I’ll be sure to post pics of the ZJ upgrade when I’m finished.

New decals installed. I'm having a hard time finding top quality lettering.:(

Performed a front hub bearing replacement twice in one day on the same side since the PO decided at some point to install an front diff/ axle assy from a 98 into my 03! ( for some reason when I torqued the lug nuts the wheel locked up) hmmmm? I cursed( to myself) the poor parts associate for giving me the wrong part soon to figure out the puzzle with the efforts of another parts personnel……sorry dude! Lol Gotta love the PO stories! 🙄 oh yeah got the energy to replace my defective turn signal assy also been looking at the fog light indicator on for 3 months now. Fortunately I don’t have OEM fog lights so no dead battery for me. Had the part for over 2 months. Is this a sign of getting old ?

Was off work today, so drove it to one of KC's more well known BBQ places. No pics. Then had to run by work to pick up some mail I was waiting for. We had this sitting out front. First full size 2 door Bronco. Seized the photo op while everyone in service was looking at me weird. Must have been jelly because I was in a TJ. Or had.the day off. Or because I had deep dish pizza in the freezer shipped in from Chicago overnight. Or because they ain't as good looking. Dunno. Suck it beaches.

Giordano's Pizza?????

Giordano's Pizza?????
Lou Malnoti's. Buddy of mine told me the story of. Trip he and some other guys had taken a couple years back. They went to Lou's and he was almost in tears that it was soooo good and he wasn't going to be able to take the leftovers with him. Figured I'd have some shipped frozen and see if it comes close to the magic he experienced, lol.

Soaked my 6 body mount bolts yesterday to prepare for installing my new Body Armor steps/sliders. Shockingly the impact wrench with some back and forward switching loosened them with no issue! Overall about a 90 minute project!! I like the cleaner look! Wish I could roll with no step, but need it for the wife and kids!

Great looking Jeep! Body Armor makes good stuff. Those 35s look huge. I love your flares, but still on the fence about buying some. I think they might make my 35s look small. ;)
p.s. Time to paint that BA front bumper. :)
