Door surrounds on or off?

Finally took my top off. Halfway thru summer. Trying to decide if i should take off the door surrounds too. I like the looks of the door surrounds in. But mildly concerned about them getting stolen. But im more worried about someone walking off with my doors.

I bought axles for the 2nd one instead. Roughly the same price

Agree! A soon as it’s warm enough for the hard top to come off... I take the doors and surrounds off... my factory soft top is getting dusty but it’s way more fun this way. I do run a spidershade .

Done it both ways ...just preference ... whatever works for you

I personally prefer the look without the door surrounds but my Safari top flaps like crazy without them so I leave them on.

I think full doors look silly without the surrounds.

I also now have two sets, and still just the one Jeep...

I leave them on with full doors top down. With my halfs I take the surround off and just roll like that.

Full doors really should always have the door surrounds installed. Slamming the doors shut without them will eventually crack the welds at the bottom of the window frames.

Not much different than asking if the tag on your underwear goes in the front or the back. Just look at the fucking skidmarks godammit and put them back on the way you took them off. Is this really a question?
