Ok so I just dropped off the doors for a second and final attempt... so he said he had been thinking about it since last week and wanted to try another mix.. it would appear that the formula was in the wrong order ... had blue green first and blue red second in the mixing chart so he swap the colors in the mix putting blue red first and I wish I woulda got a photo because that's the problem.... now its so close I can't tell on the spray out card ... however the paint rep is coming today to see about a different mix using Sickens or something brand paint instead of PPG ... not sure that's the correct name "Sickens".. but that's how it sounds .. I will say it definitely has the purple shading at a downward angle and looks really really close on the spray card but he wants the rep to mix a shot and see what's closer ... but I think his mix today was spot on especially where it flops to purple at a downward angle so if it was not even in the same country before we are now in the same neighborhood but regardless I will either accept it or someone will get a good deal on newly painted doors... I'm gonna go by there on the way to work and get a photo of today's mix and post it this afternoon ... oh and I stand by my buddy and agreed that the first attempt matched perfectly in the building but not in the sun but after today I believe it will be worlds better
