The great resignation—where is the hired help?

A good percentage, if not most, of government handouts are a fraud. This hasn't changed as far as I know.
I guess either of us can say anything right. I work with a foundation and get tours of our local support services for people in need. On the ground I don't see what you are talking about. I do hear about welfare moms and allot of other stories but at food banks and shelters it really seems different. You'd probably say I've got blinders on to what's really going on, maybe I do.

these will Million + dollar robots and constantly having issues...
All of the wire is made in china still, units were built in either Detroit or somewhere else back east. You also have to deal with shitty programs, AI is still not a thing. I am not in the Machine industry right now, I am working as an airplane mechanic and we cannot find one to hire who shows up, right out of school they want $25 and most are not able to show up at 7-8 am. I got a pay raise this year of $2 and I try not to complain. I also help with the trash, sweep, move tables and what ever else the girl who makes $12 and I make almost 3 times that and just consider it part of the job. Young'ns wont lift a finger to help her so she appreciates the help. I am also working a second job primarily on weekends but once that no longer becomes fun, I am not doing that anymore. I have been offered more money but those jobs require me to travel to sunny california when its fire season...no thank you. YMMV, we all have our own motivations one just getting a compliment from a colleague to a customer give me some pride in what I do.

Men would have transmissions on the kitchen table-
This is what's left in my dining area after using up all the other parts for two complete brake jobs, and the steering and suspension rebuild on the wife's XJ. When the wife complained about the room looking like a NAPA store, I told her "My garage is full, and I didn't want to put the parts in the bedroom. That would be weird..." ;)

Have you used the dish washer for jeep part yet? If not, no balls!

Yep. Nobody knows how to write software any more - there's no knowledge and there's no QC. Buggy crap and latency, latency, latency everywhere. I wrote software professionally for over a decade - I would have been FIRED WITH CAUSE if I'd turned out the kind of crap I see every day...
