How can I identify a 1-ton steering setup?

Based on pics that I’ve seen from some TJ’s for sale on this sight I’m thinking it’s stock. When I bought the Jeep 6 years ago it was stock TJ with some upgraded options. I took a bunch of pictures for if and when I post it for sale. Here’s a pic of my front end: Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

How can I identify a 1-ton steering setup?

So I’m contemplating putting my 03 TJ on the market. I am attempting to put together a bullet point list of parts and mods and so on. *4L Inline 6, *5 Speed Manual Transmission *D44R/30F 3.73 gears *Front and rear disc brakes. A buddy (NOT any more knowledgeable than I am NOT) commented, as...

Show us what you are drinking / smoking today

I had a brunch beer this morning; TommyKnockers Green Chili Beer with Bloody Mary mix. I quit smoking cigarettes 5 years ago and I’m a little cautious of a cigar. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What did you do to your TJ today?

Switched out hard for soft top. Installed relocation mirror for when doors come off. Thursday and Friday it’s going to be [emoji3508] and 70’s, so, I’m going to test the new frameless soft top by taking windows and running the bikini. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    1.75" suspension coil spacer install

    Thoughts on Optima batteries?

2003 TJ, not a lot of electrical mods, desert SW Colorado. In the market for a new batt. Thoughts on Optima Red Top 720CCA/910CA, or is the 800CCA/1000CA sufficient? I know a lot of Jeepers recommend the Odyssey, but with a $75 difference, is it really worth it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

99 XJ starts but no gauges

Thanks everyone. Here’s the status. There was no odometer, therefore I could not determine if there was a NO BUS situation so, here’s what I’ve discovered in my tracking of the electrical. I disconnected not only the connections to the pods but also the connections to a previously installed 20”...

99 XJ starts but no gauges

Good Morning! Help please. 99XJ Yesterday I installed A-Pillar LED light pods. After completing they turned on fine. Cleaned up and went into the house for the night. This morning I went out, started the Jeep just dandy, but I noticed NO GAUGES were working. Fuel level, voltage, oil pressure...

I replaced the ignition cylinder, actuator, and switch today. I just kept the old key for doors, gate, glove, and console. I know...LAZY! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
