Core 4x4 0-6" track bar for your 2.5" lift?

Think again. You can go right ahead and cut the zero out of there and make it 4.5"-6" because of the 3.25" required bumpstop extensions which matches a 16.5" collapsed shock length. Metal cloak, currie, skyjaker and rk are the only springs that are long enough to stay seated with a 26.5"...

    Fuel tank skids

How long did your factory tank skid make it? What's the best fitting tank we can still buy, considering differential and bolt on track bar brackets are there to grab it when the lower arms get to 16" or longer with a slip yoke eliminator? Let's weed out the boat anchors.

Ironman TJ rear lower extended clearance shock mounts

Yes, t complimenting the normal bolt on kit and help keep the bumpstop amount to a minimum. Without using a set, It looks like Andy put some thought into them. I'd never seen them before until Friday while ordering an xj steering brace.

Manifold Hardware Question: Studs vs Bolts

6 and 7 protrude into the water jacket and have to be sealed. Studs and high temp sealant properly prepared are the best option. Grade 8 hardware is best but they are 3/8" bolts that will only get torqued to 23ish.

Ironman TJ rear lower extended clearance shock mounts

That doesn't matter for most that are just in need of replacements caused by improper bumpstop or an addition to a new lift being done by a shop that's concerned about the things that are always overlooked such as spring pad contact, matching bumpstop extension, exust clearance and so on. We can...

Cycling rear suspension without track bar connected?

Currie arms don't matter. It will still bind unless you pull an upper control arm bolt. If you cycle the suspension with a track bar bolt out you will not be able to articulate the suspension at all. It will only go straight up and straight down.

Cycling rear suspension without track bar connected?

12" travel matched to a 3" bumpstop is the same droop as a 25" shock in stock mounts. It matches a 17.5" spring freelength. The outboard 18/30" shock gains nearly 2" of uptravel due to the collapsed length of the 9" travel shock in stock mounts.

Cycling rear suspension without track bar connected?

On the trail there are forces going on which can squish bushings that you can't reproduce on jack stands with your springs out without getting yourself hurt. You can eliminate binding and rear steer with geometry correction in a 12" travel range from a 2" bumpstop extension.

Cycling rear suspension without track bar connected?

If this is a short arm, Remove the passenger side upper control arm bolt at the axle end if you want it to actually droop without binding up at a 23" shock length.....

New Steinjager crossover steering for my 2001

The stock wj rod ends are pretty weak. I've used them alot. As soon as you put a ram on there, they will just bend like butter. Even without a ram, they fold up. I found It takes very little pressure to bend them in a press while modifying them due to the lack of right hand drive parts...

New Steinjager crossover steering for my 2001

I'll be another advocate for ditching it altogether for currie/savvy steering..... but it's simple and effective, whether it's right or wrong..... it has limitations of limited downtravel, 24" extended shock length, from binding joints and limited up travel from crossed up links, bolts will...
