DeLoe5
My dad bought this Jeep when I was 5 years old. The memories my dad and I have made off-roading in this are irreplaceable. I can't tell you all the mods my dad has made so I did my best when listing the parts. I recently started teaching full-time and have decided to fix this jeep up as much as possible. I use this as a daily driver and it has been a great vehicle to me.
Once I have the new suspension on, I will consider making an Instagram page posting the adventures me and my son go on and the mods I make going forward.
Engine:
Rebuilt 2.5, Cracked piston around 60,000 miles (When my dad was using the Jeep as a DD) I have around 130,000 miles now.
K&N Series 77 High Performance Intake
Throttle Body Spacer Kit
Magnaflow Competition Series Cat-Back Exhaust System with Polished Tip
Aftermarket engine pulleys (my bearings fell apart on one in the heat, causing the serpentine belt to snap)
Aftermarket Idler Pulley Adjuster Bolt Kit (Did this while replacing both pulleys)
Suspension & Accessories:
Going on next month, parts are backordered.
Extreme Terrain:
Rough Country 4-Inch X-Series Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit
Rough Country Rear CV Driveshaft
Rough Country NP231 Transfer Case Slip Yoke Eliminator
Right now, I have a 2.5 inch Rubicon Express lift that we have had for about 15 years. My rear shocks are finally starting to go, so I am upgrading. We have ran 33's and when the piston cracked, dropped down to 31's and the engine was a lot happier with the stock 4.10 gears.
Wheels and Tires:
I bought some sweet hammydown wheels from a friend that are 15x8 for $25 each when he upgraded. They've been good to me.
31x10.5 Hankook All Terrain Tires (Looking to move up to 33 or 35 when I install the new suspension. Could use some regearing tips and opinions. I am probably going to run 33's and regear to 4.88 since I have the 4 banger.)
Exterior:
Extreme Terrain:
